AN ARGUMENT, PUT UNDER PRESSURE
This is what the four steps look like in practice. Nobody was silenced, and the argument still got sharper.

“This road closure is hurting shift workers more than it's hurting the council.”

THE CHALLENGE
“Show me the numbers. Which shifts, which routes, how many people?”

THE EVIDENCE
Council traffic counts, the published consultation dates, and rosters from three night-shift workers on the affected route.

THE RESULT
The claim narrows: not the closure itself, but the 10pm–5am detour. A proposal is drafted.

THE COMMUNITY RESPONSE
Support, objections and two amendments — one of which fixes a flaw in the original ask.

The lines that matter
Hate speech and incitement to violence are not arguments. The law applies here, and automated systems guard against spam, bots, fraud and abuse.

This place isn't finished yet. That's the point. The first 1,000 members don't just join the Square — they get a permanent founding number, a founding badge, the right to propose Charter amendments, early Circle creation and a seat on the first peer juries.
